One of the programs i enjoyed working with was kidpiration. i thought the program was user friendly and great for mapping concept for children. I really enjoyed learing how to use this program.

I had a little fun with the powerpoint activities i chose the easy projects just because i have not had a lot of experience with powerpoint. The action buttons were a little difficult to figure out but i didn't know you could take text from the internet and put it on to your presentation. I really thought the animated text was cool. I thought it was broken until i read that you are supposed to put it in slide show form.

So i had fun with my power point i knew i wanted to do something with mountain biking and skiing because i love to be outdoors doing those sports. Putting together these pictures helped me to show my personality and who i am. i am looking forward to learning more.

Wow another crazy week of school. This week we are learning how to use a photo editing program called picasa it is definately a challenge at first but once you play aroung with it, it gets a little easier. It is crazy all the stuff this program can do, i have worked with photo shope and adobe and things like that to put together school yearbooks and this is a breeze as far as editing and that goes. Well we will keep rolling at it.

One thing i really like about the class is the many resourses there are for education and materials for classroom curriculum. I had no idea there were so many sources. I also enjoy the lab class periods it makes me feel like i get more done in class as far as assignments go.

I really have enjoyed the first three technology classes. I have already learned so much about incoorporating technology into education and lesson plans. I never realized how versatile different technologies can be. I thought you can teach using a power point and that is about as far as technology will go. Wrong, there are games and unbelievable sites that are so usefull for teaching and getting ideas for material and lessons. I am so excited to learn something that i know i will use and incoorporate into the classroom when it comes time!
